The Traralgon Bowls Club sought to enclose their existing outdoor Synthetic bowls green. As well as upgrade and reconfigure their existing administration, and change room area.

The brief also required that a new first floor multi-purpose function space be created, that could enable a view into the new covered Bowls Green. One of the main focuses of the design brief, was to create a facility that would be unequaled for a Regional based bowls Club, and would attract major events, both nationally and throughout Australasia
